Individual offices are equipped with stomatology sets KaVo manufactured in Germany – for your comfort, these sets have an independent control both by nurse and doctor and therefore positioning of the patient is perfect. It also includes program equipment so the patient can easily get on and off the chair. Also doctor’s instruments, i.e. tools which doctor uses during procedure, are of KaVo brand. All instruments are of light variant and have its own cooling which provides ideal conditions for the doctor to perform the treatment. These top-rank instruments are supplemented by two non-carbon engines of the highest category – stability of rotations together with the possibility of absolutely accurate regulation of rotations, as well as quiet engines, ensure optimum use of all doctor’s instruments.

The state-of-the-art technology in service of our clinic

The sets are also supplied with LCD monitors where you can watch your health record, doctor’s instructions, you can see both digital intraoral and panoramic images or the view from the intraoral camera which shows on-line the current situation in the mouth of the patient - you can see views before the treatment and you can compare it with the view after the procedure. To be able to watch the images on LCD display every office is equipped with a digital intraoral x-ray supplemented with radiovisiography with provides high resolution of every x-ray image. Using these modern technologies the dose of x-ray is minimized compared to conventional x-ray. All mentioned technologies clearly require computer processing and therefore all other data, including medical records, are in digital form which in case of need enables a fast transfer of information to another healthcare provider equipped with sufficient technologies. For advanced solution of prosthetic work we use the implantology set KaVo IntraSurg for introduction of implants– this set is equipped with a unique engine KaVo, which is supplied with lightguide as the first implantology engine in the world.

Health, safety and consideration for environment

As we are trying to have maximum consideration for the environment, the clinic DENT MEDICO is equipped with a powerful central drainage unit which is followed by a high-performance amalgam separator Dürr with guaranteed effectiveness of 98,00%. This producer has also provided us with an efficient compressor which supplies all stomatology sets with a sufficient amount of effectively filtered air.

Kavo HealOzone – painless tooth decay removal without drilling

We perform procedures by a unique device KaVo HealOzone to remove tooth decay without drilling. Together with a laser decay locator KaVo DiagnoDENT this device enables painless removal of tooth decay without drilling. The device KaVo HealOzone can generate ozone from air and transport it to the damaged place, this action takes place in a hermetically closed area so there can be no leak and, subsequently, this device can neutralize ozone safely after use. Clinical tests proved that ozone can kill 999 999 bacteria out of 1 million during 20-second application. Metabolism of these bacteria participates on production of lactate which is the cause of tooth decay. Ozone application penetrates to depth of 3 millimetres and besides the mentioned effect it also supports remineralization of the tooth. Moreover, it influences the affected soft tissues and neither injection nor any local anaesthesia of the treated area is needed during the procedure performed by this device. This treatment does not have any side effects.
